Scary Guys Air Cannon
A bunch of different uses for an Air Cannon are presented here. These notes were taken from an halloween-l contest entry from a few years ago and posted on the Scary Guys web-site. Also shown is a prototype of a Air Cannon that they built.

GIANT Air Cannon
A "simplified" version of an Air Cannon using a cardboard box. Overly simplified instructions, but no pictures. This how-to also shows how to create "smoke" combining the vapors of hydrochloric acid and ammonia, a rather hazardous alternate to fog.

Got Fog? Fog Chiller
Instead of filling the air, you want the fog to slowly drift over the ground, around tombstones and over burial mounds, or maybe you'd like it to flow out from under your porch or even over your roof. Well then a Fog Chiller is what you need! A beautiful how-to on building a very nice looking Fog Chiller. They do not skimp on the details when it comes to showing how to build this Fog Chiller.

Fog Chiller | By Chuck Rice
A more advanced project, Chuck Rice explains how he built his Fog Chiller. The design uses two hand made soft copper coils that get placed inside a a stovepipe. The coils are connected via plastic tubing to a fountain pump that is placed in an ice chest full of water and ice. The cold water is pumped through the tubes and returns to the ice chest where the ice chills it again. Good Luck!

Scotts Fog Chiller
Create a simple Fog Chiller using a $15 Coleman cooler from Target. With an overall project total of $25 you might want to look at this if you have a tight budget. Easy to follow instructions, a few pictures, but none of the construction process.

Fog Chiller
Almost the same as Scotts Fog Chiller, but this one uses a fan to assist the fog to go through the chiller. Some easy to understand instructions, and a few pictures, what more could you ask for?

Modifying A $70 Fogger To Have Timed Fog
Say that 10 times fast :)! When the author of this how-to opened up his $70 fog machine, he noticed there was no timer . . . well with a couple fixes - viola! - his fog machine is timed. Unfortunately this how-to voids your warranty.

Allen's Homemade Fog Machine
A homemade fog machine consists of something to drip fog fluid (homemade/store-bought) onto an iron which heats it up to create the fog. Then there is a fan that blows the fog out of the box. Allen provides enough information to get by on building a Homemade Fog Machine, and includes some nice pictures.

Homemade Fogger Improvements
No pictures - but it says they haven't forgotten about the pictures, and it was last updated 3-3-99! Anyways it sill has good information, on variations of Allen's Homemade Fog Machine.

HellaCool Fog Machine
Much like Allen's version of a Homemade Fog Chiller, but with a few variations and only $20. If you are looking into building a Homemade Fog Machine you should look at this page.

Mineral Oil Fog Machine
This homemade fog machine is very simple and one of the more safer versions - blow compressed air into mineral oil and it vaporizes into fog.
