Computer-Controlled Coffin
With all the how-to's we have seen this one blew us away!! It shows how to build the coffin, use pneumatics, setting up various electronics, putting in coffin bedding and lining, making the corpse, and so much more! The effect is a corpse popping out of a coffin and the corpse is talking.

Scott M. Fence
Just as the title says! A great how-to, quite a few pictures~ Every graveyard needs a fence.

Fence And Pillars
Bob McCown has a great looking fence with pillars. This link is worthy of your click!

Milk Crate Columns
Aquick approach to building pillars. Using the now-traditional method of using Great Stuff expanding foam to secure broken chunks of Styrofoam to pillars, but the structure of the base is not 2x4s or other lumber...it's MILK CRATES!

Entrance Columns
Another Scott Messinger Page, these columns go along with the fence (how-to above)

So you want to make a fake dead guy?
Do I really need to explain? A very detailed how-to on making a corpse.

Corpse Face
Using Living Faces Make Up kits at Walmart (This was the skull-face kit.....the one with the RIP carved in the forehead of the makeup appliance.) Create a greusome looking corpse head!

Corpse Hands
Create corpse hands out of wire hangers and masking tape...they actually look really good!

Grave Jumper
The head, instead of simply hopping straight up, leans forward slightly as it jumps. Using a door closer for pneumatic cylinders the Grave Jumper mechanism can be set inside a shallow grave, or at ground level behind an appropriately-sized tombstone. The choice is up to you.

Yard Boys
Create Yard Boys that always hang around your cemetery during Halloween. They are constructed out of some wire strung through PVC pipe and covered with a robe-type costume, topped with a wig head and a mask. No one will know you are real, until you reach out and touch someone.

Basic Crypt
A nicely built crypt, details mostly into creating the columns and other things, but the crypt details are cut a little shy.

Eyes In The Bushes :: Allen
Four sets of eyes blink in irregular patterns in a bush near the front door. A motor drives a belt which slowly turns a metal can. Contact brushes made of wire and scrap spring metal ride on the can.

Eyes In Bushes :: Scott Messinger
Using some empty film canisters and a string of Xmas lights with multiple flashing effects, I created a bunch of little creature eyes you can string through the bushes.

Eyes In Bushes
This idea was originally designed to be just a pair of LEDS (Light Emitting Diodes) that could be hidden in a tree or bushes, but this how-to shows them placed in Ping Pong balls.

Prop Tree
Just an image with construction details.

Static Tree
Provides the steps necessary to build a wood, wire mesh and paper mache. It is a stylized tree with human-like tree limbs reaching out to snatch up the unsuspecting. The ghoulish face glows a fiery red revealing the demons that lurk within and the top of the tree shows where the trunk was "snapped off" during a wickedly, ferocious Halloween storm.

Spooky Tree
The spooky tree is constructed out of an understructure of plywood, 2X2s, 2x4s and coathanger wire. The bark is created by using burlap dipped in the glue sizing and wrinkled onto the cloth base. What more could you ask for?

Lightning and Thunder Effect
One of the most popular sound effects is thunder. Add a bright flash of light and you have thunder and lightning. The trick is to synchronize the sound of the thunder and the flash of lightning.
